Introduzione all’unità 2

È ora di esplorare

In Unità 2 we continue the introduction of the most basic elements of the Italian language through phrases, situations, and topics that a visitor to Italy would immediately encounter.  Students will learn the vocabulary necessary to describe what they would see in Italian cities and towns: buildings, piazze, stores, and other sites of daily life.  They will learn how to react to what they see and experience, and they will learn to tell time. The in-class activity packet and the interactive exercises contain plenty of opportunities for students to explore contemporary Italian culture and put the language to use. Specifically, in this unit, they will get a taste of cities and piazze in Italian, and some geography and history in English.
