In Unità 5 we continue the introduction of the most basic elements of the Italian language through phrases, situations, and topics that relate to vacations, holidays, and travel. Students will explore different kinds of vacations and activities, and speak about them in the present and the past. The in-class activity packet and the interactive exercises contain plenty of opportunities for students to explore contemporary Italian culture and put the language to use. Specifically, in this unit, they will learn about some Italian holidays and traditions.
