3.4 Introducción: ¿Los midió el empleado?

Los verbos con cambios vocálicos en pretérito.

Durmió después del almuerzo.

What do the verbs almorzar (to eat lunch), dormir (to sleep), and repetir (to repeat) all have in common? (Besides the fact that we all want to eat lunch and take a nap over and over again?)

All of these verbs are stem-changing verbs in the present tense. Yo almuerzo, yo duermo, yo repito.

But what happens to these stem-changers in the preterit tense? In this section, we will find out…
