Use the verb estar to denote location.
Use the prepositions of location to describe where things and people are located in a house or classroom.
Identify locations from spoken text.

A. Adivinanzas (guessing game)
Tú le dices a tu compañero/a dónde está una cosa o una persona en el salón de clase y tu compañero/a tiene que adivinar qué cosa o quién es. (You tell a classmate where a thing or a person is in the classroom, and the classmate has to guess what the thing is or who the person is).
Ejemplo:
Estudiante A: La cosa está al lado del ( next to, beside) pupitre. Es negra y tiene muchos libros.
Estuiante B: Es una mochila.
Estudiante A: La persona está entre (between) Felipe y Sara y delante de (in front of) Luisa.
Estudiante B: La persona es Miguel.
B. ¿Dónde están las mascotas?
Using estar and the prepositions of location, tell your partner where the pets are in the following pictures. Your partner will do the same. As you hear where the pets are, draw them into the empty rooms.
